Winter Roads Update - Tuesday, November 29, 2022

City crews were out early this morning clearing Priority 1 routes doing their best to keep arterial roads clear. The 35+ km/h winds aren’t helping, though, so it may take a couple of passes to get things cleared up.
Crews are also out sanding/salting our main priority streets and will continue to work on spot clearing areas with high drifts, and clearing sidewalks.

The City of Yorkton, in collaboration with Tourism Yorkton are pleased to announce the third annual Let Yorkton Shine decorating contest.
Let’s bring some joy to the community. Make Yorkton shine with some holiday sparkle by decking out the outside of your home or business and submit a photo to the City of Yorkton from November 28 to December 14 for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Access Communications Water Park Pass Changes

At the November 14, 2022 regular meeting of Yorkton City Council, Council authorized the re-implementation of time-based monthly passes to the Access Communications Water Park. Monthly passes will be available starting December 1, 2022. Punch-passes will remain available, including a payment plan option for the 100 punch-pass option.
