2023 Budget Survey recap and Contest Winner

The City of Yorkton ran a public engagement survey on our website from October 11 to November 4, focusing on our 2023 Budget and service delivery. 

We asked for public's feedback on a variety of our core services and whether taxpayers would like to spend less, more or the same on different service levels as well as what your priorities for spending in the community are, including capital projects. Adjusted Services for Remembrance Day, Friday, November 11

The Remembrance Day service put on by the Royal Canadian Legion General Alexander Ross Branch No. 77 - Yorkton will be held on Friday, November 11 at 10:45 a.m. in the Gallagher Centre Flexihall. At 12 p.m. there will be a Remembrance Day Luncheon at the Gallagher Centre National Bank Room. 

The City of Yorkton will have a number of adjusted hours of operation on Remembrance Day, Friday, November 11.

  • Closed on Friday, November 11 and will reopen Monday, November 14, at 8 a.m.

City recognizes National Indigenous Veterans Day

November 8 is National Indigenous Veterans Day, a day to remember Indigenous peoples - past and present- who have served and continue to serve with great pride and sacrifice for our freedom.

Facility Sponsor George Gallagher passes away

City Council and the Gallagher Centre management and staff were saddened to hear of the recent passing of George Gallagher, whom the facility is named after.
