Deer Park Water and Sewer Construction starting July, 2022

Construction of water and sewer services for the Deer Park Clubhouse will begin July 4, 2022, causing road disruptions along Highway 52. The awarded contractor, Castle Oilfield Construction, will begin mobilizing to the area this week to prepare for construction.
The construction zone speed limit will be reduced to 30 km/hr and the southbound lane heading east into Yorkton will be reduced to one lane during this time. A portion of Sully Ave will be closed with local traffic access only.

June 28, 2022 - City crew will be crack sealing on Whitesand Drive and Good Spirit Crescent starting today, Tuesday, June 28.
June 23, 2022 - City crews will continue crack sealing in the following locations this week:

Elizabeth Street Connector path at Logan Green closed for paving starting July

Elizabeth Street Connector Path at Logan Green will be closed in July for pathway paving. This project is expected to be complete by the first week of August, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Residents using the Logan Green Pathways are asked to respect the work zone and use alternate paths for the duration of the project.

June 23 Storm Update

Yesterday, Yorkton experienced heavy rain and hail throughout the City. City crews worked throughout the evening and overnight to address flooded intersections, manhole covers and other flood-related issues on roadways.
Water has receded from flooded streets and most intersections were clear for today’s commute. City crews continue to clear catch basin covers from debris as well as remove barricades from areas of concern.
