The City of Yorkton will have a number of adjusted hours of operation on Victoria Day, Monday, May 20, 2024. 

City Hall 

  • Closed on Monday, May 20, 2024 and will reopen Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 8 a.m. 

Public Works 

  • Close on Monday, May 20, 2024 and will reopen Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7 a.m. 
  • Report a Concern online or for immediate emergencies dial 306-786-1760

Garbage and Recycling Collections 

  • There are no changes to residential garbage collection 
  • There are no changes to residential recycling collection

2024 RCMP Bike Safety Rodeo kicks off today, Monday, May 13 at Columbia School

The Yorkton RCMP is pleased to host their annual Grade three Bike Safety Rodeo again this year from May 13-17, 2024. Rodeos will take place at each of the eight elementary schools in Yorkton which will total 253 students.

The kick-off event takes place today, Monday, May 13 with Columbia School at the Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Water Main Replacement and Road Closure on McBurney Drive Starting Monday, May 13, 2024

McBurney Drive between McNeil Crescent and Matheson Crescent will be closed starting Monday, May 13, for a water main replacement. 

Please be advised street parking in this area will be restricted during construction. Affected residents will receive a letter from the contractor, Ungar Construction, before construction and signage will be posted by Ungar Construction to identify street closures and detours.

Circlebrooke Drive between Riverview Road and Parkview Road will be closed starting Thursday, May 9, to finish paving the road from the water main replacement that took place in 2023.
