Phase 2B of the Water Main Replacement on Circlebrooke Dr. starting Thursday, August 10

Phase 2B of the Water Main Replacement program will take place tentatively starting Thursday, August 10. The road will be closed on Circlebrooke Drive between Riverview Road and Crestwood Crescent. Phase 2A will also continue to be closed on Circlebrooke Drive between Crestwood Crescent and Parkview Road.

Phase 1 of the project is now complete and the roadway between Glenbrooke Drive and Riverview Road is open to traffic.

2023 Asphalt Crack Sealing Program

The 2023 asphalt pavement crack sealing program is now underway. The following streets are set to receive crack sealing this season:

York Road Reconstruction Phase 2 Road Closures and Detours

Phase 2 of the York Road Reconstruction project is now underway. Phase 1A is complete, but the roadway will not be open to traffic for approximately two weeks, until Phase 1B is complete.

Road closures along York Road are extended to 4th Avenue North, with a detour in place on Imperial Street for local traffic and vehicles accessing businesses along York Road.

Temporary roadway access has been made to Heartland Livestock, Leon’s Manufacturing, and Nutrien AG Solutions as they begin work on Phase 2...

Smith Street closed for paving between 2 Ave N and Myrtle Ave starting Sunday, June 25, 2023

Smith Street will be closed between 2 Avenue N to Myrtle Avenue on Sunday, June 25 for road improvements. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone.

This project will take place in two phases. Phase 1 starting Sunday, June 25 the westbound lane will be closed followed by Phase 2 with the closure of the eastbound lane.  

This project is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Smith Street Median, Curb and Sidewalk Repairs

Smith Street will have limited parking between 2nd Avenue N and Myrtle Avenue starting June 7, 2023, for median, curb and sidewalk repairs. This project is expected to take approximately one month, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

“No parking” signs will be placed along the areas affected. Please use caution when approaching a work zone.
