November 8 is National Indigenous Veterans Day, a day to remember Indigenous peoples - past and present- who have served and continue to serve with great pride and sacrifice for our freedom.

City Council and the Gallagher Centre management and staff were saddened to hear of the recent passing of George Gallagher, whom the facility is named after.

2022 Fall Street Sweeping

Residential street sweeping will begin in Section One starting in the evening of Sunday, October 16 2022.
The sweeper will be out in two shifts from 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. and 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

We are pleased to announce the second annual Halloween Decorating Contest.
Get out your spider webs, goblins and ghouls to decorate your house or business this Halloween. Members of our community are invited to decorate their home or store front and submit a photo to the City of Yorkton from October 11 - 25 for a chance to win some spook-tacular prizes.

City Hall
- Closed on Monday, October 10 and will reopen Tuesday, October 11, at 8 a.m.
Public Works
- Closed on Monday, October 10 and will reopen Tuesday, October 11, at 7 a.m.
