Inspections are required for any building or demolition permit that has been issued, or for any new business or a business moving to a new location.
Requesting an inspection
You must call Building Services (Monday to Friday) at least 24 hours before the inspection is required.
The following information must be provided when booking an inspection:
- Address
- Contact person and phone number
- Type of inspection required

What happens if you don't call for an inspection?
- All work must stop
- Work may need to be uncovered at the owner or contractor's expense to allow for inspection
