The City of Yorkton has many permits available that set standards for the health and safety of our citizens.
Building Permits
Construction Trailer Permit
Applicable fees include:
- 1 month for $10
- 3 months for $20
- 6 months for $35
- Annual (12 months) for $50

Transportation Permits
- Oversized Load Transport Permit
- Truck Training Route Permit – contact Building Services at 306-786-1710 or by email. Be sure to have the truck's licence plate numbers. There is a fee of $50 per permit.
Vehicle for Hire (Taxi) Permits
Vehicle for Hire permits are required to operate a taxi, limousine, shuttle or rideshare company in addition to the required Business Licence. Please complete the permit application online or print a copy of the application to complete and submit in person to the Bylaw Division at City Hall.
