Snow Route Parking Ban in Effect Starting Tuesday, November 29
A Snow Route Parking Ban will be in effect starting tonight, Tuesday, November 29 at 11 p.m. in both the blue and red routes. During this time, please refrain from parking your vehicles on the street in these two designated routes.
When a Snow Route parking ban is declared on Red Routes, a 72 hour parking ban will be in effect on that route to enable snow to be cleared quickly and efficiently. The Blue Route area, which encompasses the downtown area, is in force for 72 hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Signs with Blue Squares are posted on sections of the following streets to mark the blue snow route: Broadway St. from Laurier Ave. to Dracup Ave.; Argyle St., Livingstone St.; and Betts, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Avenues between Broadway St. and Smith St. During the day, parking is allowed in the downtown area so businesses can continue to operate on a normal basis.
