We provide water services to residents within the City. When you move to a new address in Yorkton as a homeowner or as a renter you will need to sign up for these services.
Utility bills are due within 30 days of issue. You can pay your utility account in a number of ways:

You can pay by cheque using the 24-hour payment drop box located inside the front doors of City Hall. Please include your payment stub with your cheque in a sealed envelope. Please do not put cash payments in the drop box |

Online banking is available through most financial institutions. When setting up electronic payments you will be required to add a new bill to your list of payees.
You can then pay your utilities bill online anytime, anywhere. Contact your financial institution if you need help setting up your account for online or telephone payments.

Make payments to the City of Yorkton at your bank. They will need to see your Utility invoice so they can credit your payment to the correct account. |
Pre-authorized payments |
|
To set up for pre-authorized payments you must complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Form and attach either a void cheque or the banking transaction sheet from your bank. Please drop off or mail all forms to City Hall Utility Billing department or complete the online sign up form. Sign up for Pre-authorized Payments Pre-authorized withdrawals will be on the 24th day of the month in which your utility invoice is due. The amount withdrawn will be a variable amount based on the current billing. This will ensure that your account is always in a current position with no chance of late payment fees. |

You can choose to pay your utility bill by credit card online. Please note that this bill payment option is only available online. A convenience fee is charged for the use of this service. |
