Dog Licences
Dogs in the City of Yorkton must have up-to-date vaccinations, a current dog licence and should wear their dog tag issued by us. When dogs are licensed, it is much easier for Enforcement Officers and the SPCA to return a dog to its owner if lost.
Three types of dog licences:
- Annual: valid from January to December 31 of the current year.
- 5 year: valid for 5 years from the year purchased (e.g., If purchased in March 2020 the licence expires on December 31, 2024).
- Permanent: the licence is valid for the life of the dog.
