Holiday Hours for Family Day, Monday, February 21

The City of Yorkton will have a number of adjusted hours of operation on Family Day, as follows:

City Hall

  • Closed on Monday, February 21 and will reopen Tuesday, February 22, at 8 a.m.

Public Works

Environmental Services

  • Closed on Monday, February 21 and will reopen Tuesday, February 22, at 8 a.m.

Garbage and Recycling Collections

  • Collections will remain as scheduled

Landfill

  • The City landfill will be closed on Monday, February 21 and reopen on Tuesday, February 22. Hours of operation can be found on our Landfill page.

Access Communications Water Park

  • Access Communication Water Park will remain open during the February break starting Saturday, February 19 through to Sunday, February 27.

Westland and Kinsmen Arenas

  • Westland Arena will remain open during the February break starting Sunday, February 20 through to Friday, February 25 and Sunday, February 27.
  • Kinsmen Arena will be open during the February break on the following days, Monday, February 21, Tuesday, February 22 and Friday, February 25.

  • Free of charge
  • Masks must be worn at all times in the facility and on the ice surface

Gloria Hayden Community Centre

  • Gloria Hayden Community Centre will remain open during the February break starting Sunday, February 20 through to Sunday, February 27.
  • Various drop in sports will be available during this time.

  •  All programs are drop in and run on a first come, first served basis
  • $4 per person, over the age of 5
  • Racquetball, squash, wallyball, and the walking track are available during operating times as well
  • Hours are subject to change on short to no notice
